The Courage in Leadership

The reality of being an effective leader is not bound solely by your ability

to make your team, organizations or individuals "go through a wall" based

on your directives.

Leadership is also rooted in your capacity to withstand "the slings and arrows"

of those individuals who disagree or oppose the standards you are trying to

establish or uphold.

Resolve and courage in leadership can be in short supply for many.

That's why "true" leadership - not Populism - is not a skill set that every

aspiring leader has in their tool chest.

The willingness to stand with your face INTO the fire is a rare commodity....

But it is the source of growth for all who bear witness to such strength.
