Teams succeed and fail as a group.
Without question, anyone can look at the performance of a team and selectively point out who had a good game, and who had a poor one.
But defining success or failure based on the actions of one individual is incredibly short-sighted.
Team performance is an ever-changing mosaic that impacts each member differently and experientially. The most successful teams know that spending energy trying to define and convict individuals for group failings is a colossal waste of time.
